SAMOAN MURDER.
CHINESE COOLIE EXECUTED. (Special to Press Association.) APIA, July 11. Ah- Mau, a Chinese coolie, was executed this morning for the murder of another coolie on a, plantation earl? this year. He admitted participation in Mugele murders in October last. CHEATED THE HANGMAN. (Special to Press Association.) (By Radio.) (Received July 11, 5.5 p.m.) " APIA, July 10. Wong Sliee, found guilty of the murder of a coolie, Li Chow, cheated the hangman. It was intended to hang him to-day with Ah Mau, but he was found dead in his cell on Thursday last with a blanket twisted round his neck, the medicai evidence showing that death was due to natural causes, and not strangulation. Wong Shee had been fading during the last two weeks.
