ELECTIONS IN FRANCE.
AWAITING SECOND BALLOT RETURN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) PARTS, April 29. The stage was set during the week for tho real elections on Sunday. The arrangements foretold between tho Radicals and Socialists materialised in almost every constituency. It is regarded as probable that the ultimate result Will show a Chamber composed of at least os much Left as formerly. This is the sequel to the arranged withdrawals which is an integral Part, of the French electoral system. Nobody doubts, however, that M. Poincare will obtain his majority, for everybody intends him to have one a +. present. Thei Communists continue to stand truculently alone, refusing to cooperate with the Socialists. The decision cost them numerous seats. If. ns likely, M. Poincare’s majority should prove largely Leftist, the Cabinet will probably bo reconstructed.
