Mr F. L. Wooles. ..Wind strong north-east to southeast; weather continue cold, with further rain. Dominion Meteorologist. Evening forecast:—A rather intense cyclone is centred west of the Auckland .Peninsula, and a southern depression is advancing over the South Tasman Sea. An anti-cyclone is now situated east of New Zealand and ovei central Australia. Expect strong east to north winds, reaching gale force at many places, but moderating somewhat later. Weather generally unsettled and stormy, with rain; many heavy falls, especially in the North Island.
