VIOLENT STORMS.

The Eastern part of the United States is gripped in a violent snow storm, and the temperature is near zero. It is forecasted that the temperature will continue for some time. Many persons were injured in New York and "Washington during the storm, and seven are dead in. Chicago and the great lakes region. A negro burglar, attempting to enter a shop was caught by a falling window and frozen to death.
