Blatlmayt, “Glen View,” Te Moana. Mr and Mrs Ibbotson, Dunedin, have taken Mrs Chapman’s house in Wai-iti Road for some time. Mrs F. Two local appointments have been made by. the Board of Governors of Canterbury College to the positions of Lady Principals at the Girls’ High School at Christchurch and at Avonside. Miss Patricia M. Clark, M.A., was appointed 'Lady Principal of tho Cranmer Square School; and Miss K. Gresson, M.A., avlio is nt present in charge of the AA’onside branch, Avas appointed Lady Principal of the Avonside Girls’ School.

Miss Gresson joined the staff of. the Girls’ High School in 1897, and has been in charge of the Avonside branch for the last seven A’ears.

EleA’en applications Avere received for the position of Principal of tho Cranmer Square School, and nineteen for the position of Principal of the AA’onside Girls’ High School, Avhich is to be opened in February next. Miss Clark’s appointment is due to the retirement of Miss M. A. Gibson, and takes effect from the beginning of the second term of 1928. Miss Gresson’s appointment will date from the beginning of the first term 1928.
