Ryrie (High Commissioner for Australia), and Mr A. Campion are going to Geneva to attend a diplomatic conference opening on October 17, to discuss import and export prohibitions restrictions. It is understood the Commonwealth desires reservations regarding the prohibitions a*, present in operation, covering importation of sugar and dyestuffs except from the United Kingdom* and also the exportation of metals, alloys, and minerals, for which, however, permits may fee issued.
