DUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY ■ GIVEN that in accordance with the Provisions of “The Counties’ Act, 1920,” “The Rating Act, 1925,” “The Timaru Harbour Board Empowering Act, 1890,” Sections 4 and 5, and other Acts amending same, it is the intention of the Waimate County Council at its meeting to he held on TUESDAY, 26th day of July, 1927, to make and levy a General Rate of l-Bth of a penny in the pound, on the unimproved value of all Rateable Property as shown in the Valuation Rolls now in force for that portion of the Waimate County as is included in the Timaru Harbour District. The said rate to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1927, and ending on the 31st day of March, 19 28, and to be payable in one sum on. thp 14th day of August, 1927, the office of the Waimate County Council, Queen Street, Waimate. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY * GIVEN that in pursuance of “The Counties’ Act, 1926,” “ The Water Supply Act, 1908,” and other Acts amending the same, the Waimate County Council hereby resolves as follows: “That there he collected for the current year in part payment of the [ Annual Charge for water supplied to the Lower Waihao Water Supply District a charge of 3-sths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Lower Waihao Water Supply, District, and that the same be payable in one sum on the 14th day of August, 1927, at the office of the Waimate County Council, Queen Street, Waimate.” | L. .T.
