Three passengers on a British river boat, proceeding from Shanghai tu Hankow, were wounded when the vessel was attacked by soldiers on the river bank. A protest lodged with General Chising-Kai-shek elicited the reply that lie was not responsible for the troop® affiliated with the Hankow Government. The attack is the first for / several weeks.
