The challenge of Mr J. J. Roberts, of Palmerston North, to all comers, claiming to have smoked Edgeworth tobacco for a -longer neriod than any other person in New Zealand, is taken up by Mr Alt Barr, Christchurch. Mr Barr alleges, in proof of his claim, that he smoked some of the very first consignment of Edgeworth tobacco which came to New Zealand something like twentytwo vears ago. So suitable did he find Edgeworth that he became a devoted partisan of it, and during all these intervening years he has smoked no other tobacco but good old Edgeworth. Perhaps there h- 1 "® other old Edgeworth smokers m New Zealand who are also ready to take up Mr Roberts’s challenge. Barlow Bros the N.Z.
