The Empire’s financial structure is shaking pending a successful adjustment of Sudzuki’s concern. ’lraders’ and financiers’ gloom is deepened by the closing of the sixty-fifth bank with a capital of ten million and deposits ot thirty-millions. The majority of stocK is owned by Sudzukis. The markets are very depressed. Sudzuki s representatives assert that the firm has ability to honour its liabilities provided the bafilts exte,nd the repayment period and oilier creditors do not press their claims.
