VICTORIANS AT THE POLLS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April 9, 1.6 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 8. The Victorian State elections are being held to-morrow. Seven candidates have been returned unopposed, and in another electorate a candidate had a walkover, the opponent dropping out. For the remaining fifty-seven seats there are 171 candidates, composed of nationalist, labour, country, liberal and country progressive parties, and a number of independents.
