' While riding down the BlucchTTs road, on horseback, one evening during the week, a. young lady named Miss Peters was thrown. 'The hni.se shierl at a pasgpig motor vehicle, and bolted. Miss Peters wa.s thrown on her head. but luckily received no serious injuries. MOTOR hST COLLIDES AVITH HORSE. : A young man, R. Russell, met with ■ an accident on 'Thursday evening. He : wa.s proceeding on his motor-cycle tn j the Gun Club ball, when he evidently struck a straying horse broadside on. People in nearby houses heard a crash, : and found the motorist lying union- ! j scions on the road. The motor was on ! top of him. On examination, no hones j were found to be broken, but tho j ] young man was only half-conscious, j He was taken tn his homo about two hours after the accident. On inquiry tins morning (Friday), it. was learned that Russell was conscious. . He was suffering from slight concussion, and has temporarily lost the use of his legs.
