Signor Mussolini has introduced a Bill abolishing the CommissariatGeneral of Emigrations. He propose* to transfer the functions of "the Department to a special department of the Foreign Ministry, which will systematically organise migration, for which special credits are included in the Budget. The Governor, Prince Spadapo Ferziani, himself a cattle breeder, concluded that the middlemen were inflating prices, whereupon he created a market to which farmers could deliver carcases, and in Avhich. the public could buy joints 25 per cent cheaper than formerly. The system covers chilled and frozen meat.
