Opportunity was taken by the many friends of Miss. Ettie Walker to make her a presentation prior to her leaving Rt. Andrews. The social took place in the Public Library, a large number of residents being present. Dancing, games and songs passed, away a very enjoyable evening. Mr Richards, in making Miss Walker a presentation of a. handsome xylonite clock and two doulton plates, spoke of her very obliging and courteous manner, and wished her every success in the future.
