THE BUTTER BUNGLE.

“SIGNS OF RETURNING SANITY.” LONDON VIEW OF BOARD’S CHANGE OF POLICY. By Cable —Press Association —Copyrlebt, Australian and N.Z. Cabla Association. (Received March 20, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 19. “It is a sign of returning sanity,” commented one market authority in reference to the South Auckland Farmers’ meeting, condemning the Dairy Board’s former policy. London market prospects are better. The first three days of the sales cleared 85,000 boxes of butter, and 36,000 crates of cheese. Prices are not yet good, but the rates are unavoidable, in view of the accumulated stocks. An improvement is anticipated next week, when the market will have settled, down to new conditions.
