VOGUE REVEALED IN LLOYDS’ RETURNS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 8.20 p.m., Jan. 11.) LONDON, January 11. The continued vogue of shipping fitted with .internal combustion engines, is revealed in Lloyds’, ship building returns, which show that out of a total tonnage, under construction in all countries at December 30, of 1,933,000 tons, motor ships accounted for 906,000 tons. The tonnage under construction in Britain was 760,000, which is 125,000 less than last year. The tonnage building abroad was 1,173,000, or 97,000 above last year.
