At the annual meeting of the Indian National Congress, the president, Mr Srinivasa Iyengar Madrnssi, a .politician, called for the mobilisation of all forces to issue a demand for the revision of the * Government of India Act, with a vietv to establishing full responsible Governmebt in India. He claimed that the result of the elections constituted an unmistakable endorsement of this demand. He confessed t lint the vision of Swaraj became somewhat dim with the dust of internal strife, this being an Allusion to the gravity of the Hindu-Moslem quarrels.
