KINGSDOWN. On Monday last, the annual prizegiving and picnic in connection with the Kingsdown School was held. There was a large attendance of parents and friends, and by the indulgence of the Clerk of the Weather, an interesting sports programme was carried out. The prizes were presented by the chairman of the school committee, Mr O. E. Kerr, who, in a few remarks, referred to the splendid work done at the school during the year. , Hearty cheers were given for the school mistress, Miss A.
