FAILURE TO AUDIT TRUST’ ACCOUNTS. Bj Telecrauh —-Press Association,. HA All ETON, October 22. For failure for a. period of one month to have trust accounts audited liv a qualified accountant al the end of the year, George Patr.ck Portai, solicitor, Putaruru, was lined ToO in the Magistrate's Court this morning. The .Magistrate said that as it was a first conviction he was imposing the minimum penalty, but, he stressed the .seriousness of the offence.

Thu Magistrate said he was extending lenienev because at accused s past, respectable record, his ill health and financial troubles.
