The Standing Committee of the Npw Zealand Alliance resolved: “That the Standing Committee of the Alliance reoa'lls the Premier’s sneoifie promise that this session Parliament should have an opportunity of considering licensing legislation, and urges him to expedite the •in'troduetiou of the proposed Bill. The views of all pnrtios •having Icon repeatedly given before Select Committees, and bv deputations in the Government, it is considered that the time is ripe for Parliament to take immodbifo notion. ’’
