Hie entries I totalled 120 all told. Over 1200 people ; viewed Ibe exhibits, and one ami all expressed appreciation and congratulation. The membership increased by 2-1. and Ibe numerical slrengfb of the Society now stood at 01. It had been suggested. that, with a v'ew to inducing greater efficiency and assisting in organisation, a separate Committee should he appointed from each branch of the Society: representing bantams, pigeons, nrd the canary faucieis. each branch with a representation of two delegates on tine general executive. This stop should greatly improve the interests in the various fancies, and induce more members and heller competition at, the next show, which will tie field earlier next year. The best thanks of the Society weie due to the member.', who assisted at Die annual show, and from Die spirit shown there* by ail. Die committee prophesied increased prosperity for both Society and members.

The report and balan.ro sheet, the latter showing a satisfactory state of affairs, weie adopted. The chairman expressed pleasure at the 00-operntion. and support given him during his term of office, and hoped that Die same generous measure of support would continue as this was in the best interest of the Society, tie referred to the unqualified- success of the recent .show, ami said Hint this v/as aHrilbutablo 1n the harmonious spirit that had prevailed amongst all concerned.

The. secretary' referred at some length to the benefits poultry keepers would derive by- co-operating wHh the Souih Canterbury Fag Circle in the marketing of eggs. Isv selling eggs to people outside the Society vendors would- he subject to whaleyer prices wore offering, and would he willumt the protection of the Roeieiv in obtaining a payable price. Air AlcGlnslien donated a cu-i to the Association to he allocated as it thought fit and was heartily thanked for his gift.
