HAWKE’S BAY JOCKEY CLUB. JUNE STEEPLECHASE TO STURDEE. By Telegraph—Press Association. HASTINGS, June 27. 1 Fine weather again prevailed for the second day of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s winter meeting. There was a largo attendance. The totaiisator put through £20,583, as against £16,118 for the second day last year, an increase of £4165. For the meeting £3.8,455 was put through, compared with £32,664 tor last year’s fixture, an increase of £5701. Results: — HAVELOCK HURDLES, of 150 sovs; 1$ miles. —1 Matu (A.
