The Rev. T. Sl.inspn will conduct the services in Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow.
Church Rally Month services will be conducted at the Baptist Church bv the Rev. 11. G. Goring. The subjects are: “Tho AG no and the Branches,” and ‘‘The Book of Deliverance.”
The services at the Congregational Church oil Sunday will be conducted by the Her. T. Wilson Potts at U a.m., and 0.30 p.m. Retiring collections will he taken up for the ministerial conference fund. Tho last services of Church Bally Month will be conducted by Rev. A. Begg at Highlie'.d and AVashdyke tomorrow. The evening service is choral, when the soloists will be Mrs Butler and Mr Ramsay, and Alexander's hymns will lie used. At Bank Street Methodist Church to-morrow, Rev. C. O. Iloskin will preach in the morning, and in the evening a' sacred song service will bo hold. Special musical numbers by tho choir and organist are advertised; Mrs Parker will sing the solo, “Bevond the Dawn,” and Rev. A. C. LawVy will preach. At Woodlands Street. Mr Vogeler will preach in the morning; and in the evening Rev. P. Cooke will conduct a memorial service referring to the late Mr Colwell. At Kensington Mr Stead will conduct tlie service at 11, and Hr Steele at <1.30. At Waimataitai tlie preachers will lie Rev. P. Cooke at 11, aiul Mr Chiles at 0.30. Sunday will be the fourth Sunday in Church Rally Month, and every member and adherent is urged to make an elfort to attend the services. The services in Chalmers Church will he conducted by the Rev. P. Gladstone -Hughes. The subject of i lie-morning address will lie “Consecration.” At. the evening service, solo:: will be rendered by Miss Mackintosh and Mr R. McCou-
achic. The concluding addres3 of the series on “The Kingdom of God’’ will be given. An afternoon service will bo held at Claremont.
Next Tuesday at S- p.m. iii Chalmers Church, the final service of Church Rally Month will he held, and all ministers are anxious (hat this should he a record service. The preacher on Tuesday evening will be Archdeacon Julius, while Revd. A. C. Lowry and Captain Mackenzie will also take part. The splendid brotherly spirit that is manifest in Timr.ru among the ministers and members of the different churches is an inspiration to all those who are interested in the spiritual and moral well-being of Timaru. This Sunday in the Salvation Army Citadel, Staff-Captain and Mrs Holmes, Ensign and Mrs Chard, and several boys of the Tomuka Home, will conduct meetings all day. The Staff-Captain is a very capable preacher with long Army experience both in England and New Zealand. Ensign and Mrs Chard, who are assistant officers at the Temuka Home, are both musical. Miss Lottie Holmes, who has been training the boys, has a rich contralto voice, and Captain Mackenzie anticipates that the evening service will be attended by a packed citadel. There are 25 0 free seats, and a hearty welcome is extended to all.
