THEFT FROM BOND.
PUBLICAN ARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, Juno 22. A further development in connection with a daring daylight robbery on dune 12, when a large ouantity of spirits was removed from tho bond of L. D. Nathan and Co.,- occurred today, when Michael lveady, licensee or the Britonart Hotel, was arrested in connection with tho matter; and was charged in conjunction with lioracd Vincent Byrne Speight, who appeared before tho Court lust avcck, «uki was remanded, with breaking and entering the warehouse with intent to commit .a theft- with stealing' liquor valued ati £77 Is lid, and also- with receiving liquor knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained. \ remand was granted till Monday, ba*il being fixed at £2OO, with one surety of £2OO.
