The Shansi forces are now holding their own against the Kuominchtin invaders, while other Wu-Pei-Eu forces are advancing against Kuominchun. Shansi shell lire caused the Wowing up of largo supplies of Kiioniinchun ammunition at the Tatung station, Northern Shansi. An acute food shortage is reported at Kalgnu, which is the headquarters of the Kuominchun forces. Several members of the Cabinet, in addition to Dr. Wellington Koo, have now taken up their portfolios, hence the political situation is somewhat better, though it is not expected that Mr Yen will remain Premier for long. A full meeting of the Labour Confmonce discussed the question .whether the agenda for the special Maritime Conference oi 192 S should include the regulation of hours of work on snipboard.
Tt was decided to remit the matter to the 192 S Conference.
