MR LLOYD GEORGE’S ACTIVITIES. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, June 14. The “Daily Mail” states that Mr Lloyd George’s latest America article urging the Liberals to rally to him m preference to Lord Oxford, angered the “official gang,” who were making efforts to heal the Liberal breach. Lord Cowdi'ay refused to comment when invited to say whether he had offered £1,000,000 to the Liberal Party if Mr Lloyd Georg© were not associated therewith. Lord Oxford, who is suffering from angina pectoris, following on influenza, has been ordered a complete rest. The possibility of his resignation from tho Liberal leadership is being diseweed in the lobbies.
