Sea Pearl lias been rehandicapped to 48yds in the Marconi Handicap, and Trampfast to 60yds in the Winter Handicap, at the Auckland T.C.s Winter meeting. Sea Pearl lias been allowed to forfeit her engagements. The hunter Eton Town (by Arcliicstown) was submitted: to auction at Auckland the other day. After the auctioneer had failed to get a starting bid of 20gns, and was no more successful at lOgns and ogns, the owner chipped in: “Give him> away,” and the. horse changed hands for nothing. The Auckland ' meeting was responsible for five broken collarbones among riders over fences. P. Mcßrearty sustained his injury when schooling Tula on the eve of the meeting, and S. Henderson, A. Burt, W. Gilmer and: AY. Rowe received theirs during the currency of the fixture.
