Advices from Tetunn state flint as a reprisal for the terrible massacre they suffered at the hands of the Riffs at tho time of the Spanish retreat from Mheshuan, the Akhmes tribo decapitated nil Raids appointed by Abd-el-Krixn, throwing tlie bodies on the dung hills, and displaying their heads in the market places. The chiefs or the Akhmes ordered all Jliffs and Jebalis in the districts to be killed without mercy. . The order tvas immediately carried out. A Riff official appointed by Abd-el-Krim at Benider, was arrested and killed as lie attempted to flee to the international .zone with a large sum of money. .
