Suspicious Circumstances
Alleged. ARREST OF AIDE-DE-CAMP. Rr Cable —Press Association —Copyright Router’s Telegrams. (Received June 11, 7.10 p.m.) SAN REMO, June 10. It is reported that the departure for Damascus, of the body of Sultan Mehmed, fixed for June 16, has been postponed, as deceasod was indebted 200,000 lire. Seals have been affixed to the house of Colonel Zekybey (aide do camp to the late Mehmed VI.) who has been arrested on a charge of premeditated homicide of Rechad Pasha, the Sultan’s physician, who was found dead with a bullet in hi 6 brain in March, 1924. It then decided that it was a case of suicide. Since the death of the Sultan, revelations have been made by persons in the suite and the Turkish Consul at Genoa, who informed the Italian authorities.
