(.Before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M.) TJMA RU—THURSDAY, JUNE 10. MOTOR REGULATIONS. D. A. Barker, who did not appear, was charged with driving a motor cycle without an endorsed license of new ownership, without having number plates attached, and also witn driving without being the holder of a driver’s license. On the charge of luilmg to possess an endorsed license of new ownership, defendant was convicted and order to pay costs amounting to LI Its Oil, and for driving without number-plates attached, was ordered to pay costs, amounting to 9s. Oil the third .charge defendant was convicted and discharged. Charged with driving on. the wrong sido of the street, A. A. Butt was convicted and lined 20s and costs. FAILING TO PARADE. JTor failing to attend military camps, as required by the Defence Act, William Harding was fined £3 and costs. W. A. M. Roberts and if. Watson Were each fined L2 ami costs on similar. charges. E. H. Hawkey, who was stated to have several previous convictions, was convicted and fined .L'4 and costs, and ordered to be deprived of civil rights for a period of five years. E. J. Foley was charged with failing to return equipment valued at L 4 14s, the property of the Defence Department. Senior-,Sergeant Fahey stated that it had been ascertained that defendant was under the ago of 21 years. His Worship said that as defendant was a minor, no order could be made. The charge was dismissed.
