2486 Egg* From 14 Bird* in 12 Month*. 3S' Campbell St., : Karori, Wellington. I thought the following might be of interest to you:—' In December, 1023, I bought 14 White Rock Pullets. They were two months old when I got them, and; I kept them until April, 1024. >No signs of any eggs. I read'about Spice, bought a packet, and from May 20th to May 31 kt I got 24 eggs. From .Tune Ist to 30th From July Ist to 31st From Aug. Ist to 30tli From Sept, Ist to 30th From Oct. lst- ; to 31st From Nov. Ist to 30th _ 212 eggs _ 302 eggs _ 208 egg* _ 203 eggs Total—l7o9 eggs. From May 20th, 1924, to May 20th, 1025. Total for the year,, 2486 eggs and one of the Pullets died, which left 13 birds. I have also reared some Pullets from the above, and two started to lay last week. In the summer their morning food is oats; noon, mash with Karswood Spice; evenings, oats; winter, oats, crushed maize in the morning; noon, mash, bran, oats and crushed maize; evening, oats, crushed maize.
