ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
MANAGEMEN T COMMITTEE. Tho weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the S.C.F.A. mis lie-id on Monday evening. Present.— Mr D. Bell (chairman), Messrs 1. Sherry, Foden, Thomson, Jarvis, Burn, Rocherty and Angus. An apology was received Jroui -K. .Begbie. Correspondence was read lrorn the Canterbury Football re proposed annual fixture for 3rd vunc (King’s Birthday), and proposing that this year’s match be a challenge one for tlio Peter Dawson Cup. Messrs Burn and Jarvis moved that the match with the C.F.A. be an annual fixture, all that this year’s match lie oil tlio proposed line-. Carried. Cave Cup.—Tho matches for Ist May were arranged as under: —• Thistle v. Rangers on Anzac Square; referee Mr Dickson ; Rovers v. Coimoco, on Russell Square, referee Mr K. Nicol. Both matches to .start at 2.45 p.m. sharp. Messrs Burn and Thomson moved that an up-to-date marker bo purchased, if it does not cost more than the Association can afford.—Carried. Mr Angus was authorised to obtain the necessary information, with power to act.
