OUTBREAK OF FIRE.

■HERALD” 0 UTBUTLDING GUTTED.

Shortly before ten o'clock last evening an outbreak of tiro was discovered in a small brick paper store in the yard of the “Herald” premises, slightly detached from the main building. ” When the alarm was given the flames had a strong hold, the interior being alight. The Brigade, however, was promptly on the scene, and tho outbreak was quickly extinguished, but not before a considerable stock of printing paper had been practically destroyed by fire and water. fortunately the flames were prevented from spreading to the main building, and no damage to plant or machinery was sustained.
