The Hon. AV. Nosivorthy, Minister of Tourist and Health Resorts,.and of immigration, will return to flmioru from the Alt. Cook Hermitage to-day. Mr Saunders, inspector of dental clinics, will visit Temuka to-day to inspect the clinic which lias just been established in the town. Air A. E. Izzard left Timaru yesterday for Greymoutli, Avhere he will in future reside. . . Air John Hole, who has been associated Avith the Timaru Bre-.very Company for the past 38 years, has decided to _ retire from the position of managing" director. ’ Mr J. AI. Black, formerly private secretary to .several Alinisters of the Crown, 'who has just returned from AVeinhley, was a passenger by yesterday’s second express for the north. A Press message from Christchurch, states that Air AV. Machin, manager for Sims, Cooper, Ltd., has accepted the managership of the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association. At the Aoraiigi croquet lawns on. Friday last members of the Club gathered in large numbers to, take rnreivell of Air and Airs AA'edderspoon, on the occasion of their leaving Timaru to reside :n Christchurch. The president (Miss Holdgate) spoke in eulogistic terms of their departing friends, and Air AVecLderspoon suitably and feelingly replied. Afternoon tea was provided by Airs J. AVatt and .Miss Fussell, and competitions were heartily enraged in. during the afternoon. Air S. Andrews, who has been stationmaster at Timaru for the past eight- years, retired yesterday on superannuation. His place here Avill be filled by Air A. E. Firmnn, avlio arrived at Timaru on Saturday last. Air Andrews will leave to-day on a holiday tour of the North Island, after ivhich he wi 11 settle permanently in Timaru.
