A representative, selection "of these beautiful- works of art will be shown in the well-known and central emporium of Messrs Porter and Dawson for a short period only; and every interested person throughout South Canterbury should not fail to avail themselves of this unique opportunity of inspecting this wonderful collection. The collection of art includes some statuary in Florentine marble, executed by Italy’s foremost artists, together with an extensive variety of pedestals, trinket boxes, vases, flower pots and toilet requisites. These beautiful works of art are not for exhibition only, but may bo purchased at very reasonable prices, ranging from Is to £BS.
