IRISH FREE STATE’S SCHEME. Br Cable—Press Association—Copyright. 'Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, March 10. A bachelor tax has been introduced in the Civil, Service of the Free State. .In future unmarried men will receive £392 yearly, equalling women's pay, and married men £524, plus an allowance for children. Bachelors will receive a dowry when they marry.
