The Berlin correspondent of the “Times” says one of the political objects of the new German Government will be an assault on the Dawes plan. He quotes tlie “ Taglicho Rundschau,” which usually reflects Dr. Stresemann’s views, as declaring tli.at the Dawes Plan “is proving impossible of fulfilment, unless Germany is to sink to misery. Our Government must try to get the Dawes Plan altered, .and in this connection must be supported by a united front of all parties, in order that a Conference may bo summoned At the earliest date possible.” Tho paper adds that this conference must examine a new Germany’s actual possible paying capacity, and this must result in an alteration of the conditions which were accepted under pressure of necessity.
