CANADIAN COLONY.
ANOTHER SETTLEMENT SCHEME. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Reuter’s Telegrams. OTTAWA, January 19. Advice from Winnipeg states that a settlement known as Clan Donald Colony, comprising 100 families, and embracing 30,000 acres, will be established at Vermilion (Alberta) next spring, under the joint agency of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and tho Scottish Immigrant Aid Society. The land is already purchased, and funds are available for the construction of homes and buildings, in addition to stocking and equipping the farms.
