LONG LOST BRACELET.

Some months ago Codhran, a taxicab proprietor, purchased a cab from another city owner. Finding diffic llty in raising the window, he discovered a tarnished bracelet at the bottom of the aperture. He thought it valueless and gave it to the children to play with. Later he offered it to a dealer for 15s, which was refused. Subsequently the dealer returned and offered £SO, which was refused. Codhran then took the bracelet to a diamond merchant, and was informed that each of tho 47 stones was a diamond, valued at £3, set in platinum, the total valuo being £l4O. Tho police next stepped in and found the original owner, Mrs Waterhouse, who was under the impression ihat she had dropped the bracelet out of a taxi window when driving home in 1024.
