Cooke, the Auckland and Ntuv Zealand five-eighth, arrived in Wellington reports have been current giving various forecasts, of his intentions regarding football next season. When questioned, Cooke said lie would like to have remained in Wellington if suitable employment had been* 3 obtainable. However, he has been offered a position in Napier, and lie left for that town to-dav.
