Major di Pinedo, the Italian airman, who is attempting to fly round, the world, left for Brisbane, but after travelling fifty miles, developed engine trouble, and returned. The Italian aviator will resume the flight to-morrow. Keuter’s Telegrams. Received July 21, 5.5 p.m. ROME, July 20. A national subscription has been opened by the newspapers on behalf of the airman, Major di Pinedo. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. Received July 21, 9.35 p.m. SYDNEY, July 21. Major di Pinedo has decided to postpone his flight until Friday, to enable him to meet the American Fleet.
