IN THE CHURCHES.

The services in Chalmers Church will be conducted by tho Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes. The subjects will be: “The Lure of the Unknown’’ and “is Christ Really Necessary for True Living?’’ At the evening service the solo, “Uut of the Deep, 1 Call,” will bo rendered by Miss Scott. Church Rally Month will commence in Trinity Presbyterian Church tomorrow and will continue till tho second Sunday in. July. The Rev. T. Stinson will conduct both services. , The services at the Baptist Church will bo conducted by the Rev. H. G. Goring. The subjects are: “Jesus on friendship”, and:,PThe Cross of Limitation.” There will be a grand concert on Wednesday. All are welcome. The Rev. T. "Wilson Potts will conduct morning and evening services at the Congregational Church, North Street, "on Sunday. The choir will sing from 6.20 to 6.30 p.m. To-mcrrow wlil bo observed as “Members’ Rally Day” in. the Methodist churches of Tim am and suburbs. In the morning Mr Steele will preach at Bank Street, Mr Chiles at Woodlands Street, and Rev. A. C. La-wry at Kensington. In the evening, Rev. A. C. La wry, at Bank Street, will take as his subject: “Romance and Tragcdv in Our New Zealand Church.” Rev. H. J. Odell will preach at Woodlands Street, with Mr Kingston as soloist, and Rov. J. C. Gill will preach at Kensington.
