GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. TUOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 1 ‘ the Geraldine County Council has determined that owing to weather conditions all these roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto are unlit for heavy traffic within the meaning of the By-laws of the County relating to heavy traffic •for the time being in force; for any time from the 20th day of June, 1025, to the 30th day of September, 10 25, inclusive. Now therefore the said Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred on it by its By-laws, dated the oth day of December, 1915, and of Section 11 of the “Public Works Act, Amendment Act, 1010,” doth hereby order and direct that the transportation of any traction engine or vehicle engaged in heavy traffic for such time as aforesaid, shall cease on the roads or parts of roads specified in the schedule hereto and between the points or places herein mentioned. SCHEDULE. 1— The Main road from Opihi Bridge bv Winchester and Geraldine to the Arundel Traffic Bridge over the Rangitata River. 2 Rangitata-Peel Forest road from South Rangitata P.ailway Station to Peel Forest reserve. 3 Geraldine-Peel Forest road from Geraidine-Ilangitata roads from Geraldine to Arundel. 4 Orari Station and Racecourse roads from Geraldine to Orari Railway Station. 5 Geraldine-Fairlie roads from Geraldine by Speechley’s Bridge, Cochrane road junction, Gapes Valley, Beautiful Valley, road to Opuha Traffic Bridge. G —Geraldine to Pleasant Point, Sharp’s bridge; Waitolii-Kakahu roads to Opihi bridge, Pleasant Point. 7 Kakahu-Valley road, Lime Kiln road to junction with Earl’s road. 8 — Earl’s road from Speechley’s bridge by Earl’s road to junction with AVaitolii road to Temuka. 9 Boundary road frofn Earl’s road to Winchester-Ceraldine road. 10— Waitohi road from junction Earl’s road to junction with AVaitohi-Kakahu road. 11— Road from Temuka to Walker’s road and AA r alker’s road to Opihi bridge, Pleasant Point. 12— Road from Temuka by Upper Stumps’ road and Badham’s road to Rangitata . river. 13— Road from Teinuka to Milford road, to Clandeboye, and Rolleston bridge to Rangitata river. 14— AVinchester Beach road, AVinchester to Sea Coast. 15 — Main South road, Orari Railway Station to Rangitata river. 16— Road, east side and beside the railway line, AVinchester to Orari. 17— —Road, east side and beside the railway, Temuka to Winchester.
