DAIRY CONTROL BOARD.

RESULT OF ELECTION. The counting of votes to fill automatic vacancies on the New Zealand Dairy Export Control Board, was completed on Tuesday, resulting in the return of Mr W. Bryant (South Island) and Messrs W. Grounds and W. C. Motion (North Island). Messrs Grounds and Motion were sitting representatives for the North island, but Mr Bryant is a newcomer, having displaced the sitting member, Mr J. R. Hamilton. The preliminary count gives voting details as under: — North Island.—W.. Grounds, 7157; W. C. Motion, 6799; G. Gibson, 4514; H. R. Hogg, 4420; H. Bodley, 554; C. A. Stopford, 497; P. W. Dixon, 453. South Island.—W. Bryant, 2955 ; W. Robertson, 2703; J. R. Hamilton, 2439.
