(Received June 17, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, June 16. la the House of Commons, que.-. tioned in regard to the Security Pact, Colonel Amery said the correspondence with the Dominions, with regard to the terms of the French Note to Germany would not be oommunicated to the House. Colonel Wedgwood Benn said that Mr Baldwin indicated that he might answer whether tho agreement requires the assent of the Dominions. Colonel Am’ery (Secretary of State for the Colonies) replied: “No. Thar does not follow.” Mr Garre Jones asked had not the Dominions already expressed their view. Did not tho Prime Minister of Canada state that ho would have nothing to do with the Pact? Colonel Ainery made no reply.

An Italian communication in reply to tho French communication, withholds a statement of views pending the receipt of Germany’s reply, and the definite opening of negotiations. Tho reply • observes that the Italian Government is in agreement with the French respecting the general principles of the Pact. FRENCH REPLY DELIVERED. EARLY PUBLICATION EXPECTED.
