SCHOOL COMMITTEES
HOUSEHOLDERS’ MEETINGS. PLEASANT POINT. There was a small attendance at the householders’ meeting, and some difficulty was experienced in securing enough nominations for the seven positions on tho committee. The following ' were declared elected : —Mrs Batchelor, Messrs Oborn, Wakefield, Maze, Roberts, Crossman and Rev. G. D. Falconer. Mr Oborn was re-elected chairman, and Mr Wakefield secretary. FAIR VIEW. At the householders' meeting there was a fair attendance. The retiring, chairman, Mr E. G. Butler, was voted to tho chair. The following were elected to the committee: —Messrs E. G. Butler (chairman), A. J. Brown (secretary), A. P. Holland, W. J. Cox and C. N. Hide. TOTARA VALLEY. A representative gathering of householders attended the annual meeting at Totara Valley. Mr E. Wolff was voted to the chair. The following were elected to the new committee-r-Messrs A. B. McKenzie, J.- McCann, R. G. C lei and, E. Wolff, and A. J. Cleland. Mr A. J. Cleiand was appointed chairman.
