More than usual importance is attached to this locally, as the home i team will be trying out several new men in place of players who have left j the district. The -visitors, like Linwood, should be in good fettle, as the Christchurch competitions open iiext_ week, and the home side have been in training for some time and are very forward for such an early stage of the season, and the game should b e very attractive.
