NJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Temulta Borough Council held on sth NOVEMBER, 1924, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of tlio Council to be held on FRIDAY, the sth day of DECEMBER, 19 24, and the said amendments will come into force on MONDAY, 15th day of DECEMBER, 1924. “That By-law No. 7, 1916, Section 14, be amended with regards mufflers or silencers on motor curs and motor cycles. “That Section 17 be amended with regards to speed of motors or other vehicles shall not exceed 18 miles per hour. “That Section IS be deleted. “That Section 19 be amended with regards to speed of motors or other vehicles over intersections of any streets shall not exceed twelve miles per hour. “That By-law No. 1, 1911, Section SO, be amended with regards the license foe to be paid by Taxi Drivers. That the fee to be paid to the Council shall be twenty shillings and driver’s license fee shall bo five shillings. “That Section 134 bo amended with regards the license fee to be paid by Carriers shall bo twenty shillings and Driver’s license fee shall be five shillings.” A full text copy of the proposed amendments is deposited at the office of the Temuka Borough Council, Wilkin Street, and is open for inspection by the public during office hours until the sth day of DECEMBDa tod this Gth day of NOVEMBER, 1924 E.
