ST. PETER’S CARNIVAL. The carnival in connection with the parish of Temuka and Winchester, was held on the Vicarage Lawn on Thursday afternoon. Arranged around the grounds were large stalls, representing various parts of the parish, namely, Temuka, \Vinchester, Clandeboye, ,and Waitohi. Each stall was exceptionally well stocked, and was liberally patronised during the day.
