RECORD BROKEN. The Timaru Homing Society held a race from Parnassus, 160 miles airline, last Saturday. E. Cuthbevtson s Wireless lowered, the Club's record by 300 yards per minute. The results were as follows: — E. Cuthbertson’s Wireless, 1809.6 yards per minute I J. Boys’ Carmine, 1805.7 yards per minute 2 R. Mayer’s Ring Off, 1802.8 yards per minute ... ... 3 L. Eountaino’s Fancy Boy, 1800.1 yards per minute ... ... ... 1 The Club wishes to thank the stationmaster at Parnassus for liberating the birds. The next race will.be held from Kaitokc next Saturday.
